Down with Barwick Maypole!
Barwick Maypole comes down 2008
Barwick’s maypole was taken down this morning for its triennial maintenance. The procedure was carried out with a minimum of fuss and although the public were not invited, about thirty people turned up to watch at various times during the morning.
